There is a version of birth that doesn’t feel like surviving an event — it feels like stepping into something you were prepared for. Not because everything went according to plan, but because you weren’t afraid of what you didn’t know.
That kind of birth doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built — slowly, intentionally, in the months before labor begins.
Foundation Birth Support was created for the couple who understands that preparation is an act of faith. You’ve prayed over this baby. You’ve chosen your care team carefully. And now you’re looking for someone to walk alongside you — not just on birth day, but in the quiet, weighty weeks leading up to it.
That’s exactly what this is.
This is Firm Foundation’s signature birth experience — and it’s the one closest to my heart.
It’s not a package in the transactional sense of the word. It’s a relationship. A season of walking together so that by the time your birth day arrives, you feel the kind of settled that can only come from genuine preparation — not just information, but knowing you have someone in your corner who has prayed over you, sat with your questions, and will not leave your side.
I created this for the couple who wants their birth to be something they look back on with peace. Not necessarily because it was perfect, but because they were not alone in it.
What Foundation Birth Support Is

Two prenatal preparation sessions — These are unhurried, intentional conversations. We’ll talk through what’s ahead, what you’re feeling, what you’re hoping for, and what you want your husband to understand about how to support you. We build your birth preferences together — not from a template, but from you.
Personalized birth preferences guidance — Your care team will know what matters to you before labor begins. We’ll put language to your values and your wishes so you don’t have to find words for them in the middle of a contraction.
On Call Support During Active Labor — I’m available during regular business hours for questions, reassurance, and anything that comes up as you prepare. And when labor begins — day or night — I’m reachable. That’s the window that matters most, and I take it seriously.
Hands-on comfort and positioning guidance — Breathing, movement, counter pressure, positioning — I’ll guide you and your husband through the physical tools that help your body do what God designed it to do.
Immediate postpartum presence — The first hours after birth are tender and sacred. I stay to make sure you feel supported, not rushed, and that you and your husband have a moment to just be in what just happened.
A follow-up postpartum visit — We’ll reconnect in the early days after birth to process the experience together, check in on your recovery, and make sure you’re not navigating those new-baby questions alone.
Faith and prayer woven throughout — This isn’t a checkbox. From our first session to our last visit, I’m praying over your family, pointing you back to the Lord, and believing with you that He who began this good work is faithful to carry it thr
